Bearberry
Bearberry is a low growing evergreen. It is usually two and eight inched off of the ground. The leaves are located on the stem. The leaves are oval shaped and have a leathery texture. The leaves usually are aroung a inch long. Then in May and June, pink flowers start to bloom on these plant. When they bloom a red fruit grows on the Bearberry. The plant Bearberry got it's name from the animal that eats these berries, bears.
These plants have a wide variation on where they live. They live in northern United States to the south of New Mexico, Greenland, Iceland, and northern Eurasia.
Bearberry is a very useful plant. If this plant is made into tea it can prevent miscarriges for women and can speed up recovery after she gives birth. It can also treat bladder and kidney problems.
